Dear Beloved Brother in Christ,
Greetings to you and to your companions in the Lord's mission in the precious name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. I appreciate for taking time to know about us - Thankyou.

At the very outset we express our deep sense of gratitude for your love and concern. Your loving service to the Lord’s Church and to the Christians their and to other downtrodden communities is highly appreciable and commendable. Therefore we sincerely pray our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior for showers of blessings and to strengthen you and your co workers in sound health to enable you to serve more and more and to save His children from all sorts of trials and tribulations. We humbly request your honor to spare your precious time and go through this letter and consider our appeal for prayer sympathetically with Christian love.

I thank God for the opportunity given to me to introduce myself and our work to you. I feel it is a great privilege for me given by God, We thank God for the great burden he has placed in your heart to continue His noble work

About myself: My name is Samson Sirla, born to Mr. Simon and Mrs. Salome in 1980. My native place is Vizianagaram near Vishakapatnam. I have studied Bachelors of Science, Bachelor of Education and Masters in computers. Besides pursuing this secular education, I have also completed three year Bible training and two year advanced Bible courses in Church of Christ Bible colleges. I have worked as a teacher and a lecturer.

But, I have left these jobs and committed myself to do His gospel work with all my time, energy and knowledge that God has given me. Until now I have worked with my father who is Preacher at Vizianagaram Church of Christ and I studied my education. Recently I’ve started working full time as a preacher. My father and I both have decided to fulfill the will of God in our lives. We have dedicated ourselves to the work of God. We have a strong desire to make the people as heirs of the God’s Kingdom.


About my parents: My father is working from 15 years in Viziangaram in Andhra Pradesh. He is 55. He worked at Ferro alloys Industry as a supervisor, and at the young age he came to know and the truth and saved. But when he able to preach and do the service of Lord there is no time remained for him to do the service due to the work in industry. So he decided to leave the job for the sake of ministry. From then he is serving Lord faithfully even facing many difficulties, as I witness him and take him as model. He is handicapped of one leg. My mother is a house wife; she is a faithful companion to my father in supporting my father in Lords service. He started the work at Vizianagaram and continuing his service as a minister in Vizianagaram Church of Christ from 15 years. And the brothers and sisters love him very much. He is a good preacher, his lessons from the Gods word moves us to higher aspirations in Lord's service and leads personally into fullness of Christ. He serves as a model, and many young people are inspired and given themselves to Lord's service and continuing as Evangelists and effective preachers now. We thank our Lord for him. Now the Vizianagaram Church of Christ consists of 120 members.

About my friends: By the blessing of Lords and as gifts of Lord I have godly fearing friends, whom I have met them in Bible College. They are faithful, able to preach, well educated and inspired by the families same like me. Even they have choices to go for well paid jobs they gave up all these affairs and they dedicated their lives to Lord to serve Him until there last breath. They are great source of encouragement to me.

Reasons for committing myself to the Lord’s work:

From my child hood I have learned the Bible from my parents and in fact I have grown up in Vizianagaram Church of Christ. I have seen their faith, interest, the struggles they have faced in spreading Gospel and living the exemplary Christian life, facing many trials and turning many people to Christ. Especially I was highly impressed by the service of my father and decided to do the Lord’s work more effectively using the knowledge and strength that God has given me. I understood that in all these earthly jobs, the preaching of the Gospel and spreading God’s love to the millions of this perishing world is more honorable in God’s sight and started to do His work according to His heavenly calling.

 2003 completed B.Ed (Bachelors degree in Education).,
 2004 - 2007 studied Master's degree (computers)
 2003 - 2007 worked in school and in Indian Air force College as a teacher(part time)
 2002 - 2006 worked as an evangelist along with my father.
 2007 started gospel work in new places

What I’ve done for the glory of God so far:

• Worked as a part time preacher for 5 years, besides studying
• Conducted the Youth Meetings 6 times in Vizianagaram
• Conducted preachers meetings and fellowships in Vizianagaram
• Conducted Open Gospel Public Meetings two times in Vizianagaram
• Working as a full time gospel preacher in Vizianagaram
• Door to door survey and Bible studies
• Personal & family studies in the surrounding villages of Vizianagaram

What we are doing and planning to do in the future for the glory of God:

1. Open Bible Learning Centre: - we are working with Bible learning centre, which is open and by which we are extending to teach true Bible doctrines to the people in Vizianagaram. We deal with
Church. I want to open that study centre throughout many places with all the literature and basic reading material, which I collected. So that people can come and utilize their leisure time, reading thesebooks.

2. Open Gospel Meetings: - we were successful in conducting Open Gospel Meetings. Every year
we will provide decision cards to the people who attend these meetings, so by this we are able to have lots of contacts and reaching them with gospel and truth

3. Youth Meetings: - I feel spending time with all church is not sufficient, young people are to be encouraged specially because they have different ideas, questions and problems; they can't share these things with others. And as Lord said they are very strong – if they can dedicate they can do more for the Lord. So I want to conduct special classes for them. So that I can make the youth stand firm for the truth. I can train and encourage these young people with the experience I had with the Indian defence school teaching. Now there are many young people here who can witness the great change in their lives through Jesus Christ and living for Christ as they found this is the real meaning of their lives, and they became the members of the Lord's body.

4. Bible Training Programme: We already started a monthly one day Bible school program– “Vizianagaram Bible School” and this school has 50 enrolled students in it. We are now looking to develop upto 3 to 5 days for month. So that we can prepare more people and more effectively (II Tim 2:2).

5. Tracts distribution: - We prepare and print the tracts on the most needful topics and try to reach the people by sharing these tracts.

6. Preachers’ Fellowship: - Many students were sent to Bible training from the Vizianagaram congregation, so, many students who have completed training are working with the congregations in surrounding places of Vizianagaram. So we formed as a team, and other preachers are also included in our team, and we as team workout the things in this district. And so we are arranging fellowship to encourage each other and study and learn the Gods word. Now our team consists of 14 preachers.

7. Help to the Orphans and Widows: - We want to help the poor, orphan children of the downtrodden communities and help them to go to school, buy the clothes and books needed and shape them as good citizens of our country and faithful servants to the Lord. Also help the widows who really need our love and comfort.

8. TV Programme: - We have a great opportunity offered by my friend, who is a partner of local cable network to speak through the Vizianagaram local cable network. That network covers 60 surrounding villages including Vizianagaram. This media is highly useful to reach the growing number of our population in a very less amount of time.

9. Couples’ meeting: - we want to strengthen the families of the congregation by making members celebrate Couples’ day twice a year. This year program is going to be conducted on October 6th. We want to discuss the merits and demerits of the family and help them understanding the family values and enjoying more of family love.

10. Church plantations: We are working through the Vizianagaram Church of Christ in surrounding village areas, and planting sister congregations and appointing able preachers and evangelists to take care and encouraging them work on their own as a congregation, especially we help the congregation by providing trained preachers from “Vizianagaram Bible School”. I want to make this work more effective and rapid so that much work will be done through the congregations than by a single person.

11. Youth Journal: we are planning to start a youth journal for the encouragement of students and young people to help them both spiritual, physically and emotionally from 2008. It is under working now and will be printed by this month ending. We are giving career guidance through the help of this journal as well as directive steps to the young people who are in moral crisis through the word of God.

And I have to acknowledge here one thing that all these things are made possible through greatest support of faithful brothers in the Vizianagaram Church of Christ, they work with me at any time for the glory of God by extending their all means of service.
We’ve been working sincerely and honestly for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are looking forward for the encouragement from the faithful brothers and to work with the people who fear God, love the truth, and who have a strong desire to fulfill the will of Christ, spreading Gospel to this perishing pagan world around us.
We humbly request you to remember our ministry in your daily prayers. We are praying for You, that God may give enough sources and opportunities to reach the lost people of this world.
